This article from Kiplinger siting 8 cities with surprising job growth states Nashville has the fastest projected job growth out of all metro areas in the U.S. I am surprised that this is a surprise! Tennessee has done a great job attracting businesses to the Middle Tennessee area, such as Nissan, Bridgestone, Amazon, and the new Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga. Our hospitals and universities rival those of even larger metro areas, and I feel Nashville has gained much notoriety from the press and public in recent years.
